Sources have reported that Allure Magazine will be going through an immense layoff.
Based off multiple outlets like WWD and Page Six, there has been at least 11 staff members laid off including former CFDA’s Eugenia Sheppard Media Award recipient and creative director Paul Cavaco. Others who were rumored to be laid off were Siobhan Bonnouvrier (Fashion Director), Deanna Filippo (Design Director), Kristin Perrotta (Executive Editor), Jennifer Yee (Senior Marketing Editor), Megan Carolan (Public Relations Director), and Felice Kaplan (Managing Director).
This comes couple of months after Linda Wells was replaced by the former Nylon Media’s editor-in-chief, Michelle Lee.
According to the company, Allure spokesman said: “Michelle has a clear vision and strategy to grow and expand Allure in print, digital, and video. We will be announcing new additions to the creative team shortly.”
