Funkshion Swim Week Makes a Splash in Miami Beach Funkshion Swim Week Miami wrapped up Sunday evening with runway shows and presentations from Maaji, Acacia, and Swim Show. A four-day event filled with multiple shows throughout each evening, Funkshion was this years only Swim Week option that gave show-goers access to a custom runway show tent.
The appropriately named Funkshion Tent staged runway shows for major designers such as Liliana Montoya, AI, Art Hearts Fashion, Robb & Lulu, 6 Shore Road by Pooja, Tori Praver, Luli Fama, Maaji and Acacia, while other brands such as Clover Canyon, Sinesia Karol, Maxim Swim Wear and Mara Hoffman held their presentations at South Beach hotels such as the SLS and Setai.
Some notable celebrity attendees throughout the week included Brody Jenner, LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian and Lisa Hochstein. Funkshion Fashion Week will return to the beach this coming October 2015 stay tuned for schedule of shows and events.
