Rumors are swirling that after three years, Alexander Wang will be parting ways with Balenciaga. According to reports released today, Kering Group has decided to not renew the designer’s contract after the two parties failed to reach an agreement. It appears that the Balenciaga Spring 2016 show during Paris Fashion week will be Alexander’s last.

While Alex’s time at Balenciaga, the American designer helped contribute double-digit growth, said Wang to WWD. The designer helped expand the house’s retail space to more than 90 brick-and-mortar stores and shop-in-shops. He brought a modern but edgy look to the luxurious French fashion house.

Nothing has been confirmed at the moment, but it appears search for his replacement has already begun.
