Fans have been anxiously waiting for one of New York City’s biggest music festival’s lineup to be released. The announcement came Friday that Governor’s Ball Music Festival will be held this summer on June 3rd-5th at Randall’s Island Park. The annual festival revealed its much anticipated roster that includes several star-studded headliners such as: Kanye West, The Killers, The Strokes, Death Cab For Cuties, Beck, Robyn and many more. When it comes to electronic music, several well-known DJ’s will take the stage including Thomas Jack, Duke Dumont, and Galantis.
The past two years, Governor’s Ball has selected big time rappers to headline the show, which is interesting because the New York City’s Festival is known more for the EDM scene than hip hop. Last Year, the festival was headlined by Drake who put on a show for the fans.
