Style Fashion Week Lands on the New York Fashion Scene

Style Fashion Week has wrapped after a series of incredible runway shows, stimulating presentations and celebrity appearances. The day opened with a trio of incredible FW’16 runway shows presented by WeWork. Kim Mesches, Alice Yim and Li Ling Wang captivated the audience with their sleek designs.

There was not an empty seat in the house when Control Sector took the runway next presenting their FW’16 Collection “The End.” This urban streetwear was matched with a strong, enthusiastic reaction from the crowd. Their mix of minimalist chic and stylish shapes created a coveted buzz throughout the crowd.

Grandson of fashion tycoon David Warren, Andrew Warren presented his first collection, Just Drew. This collection was a mix of sultry and sophistication. Celebrity guests including Abigail Breslin, Tiffany Trump, Kyra Kennedy, Gaia Matisse, Eliza Johnson and more graced the runway in his designs. The unique detailing and chic silhouettes made for the perfect “It Girl” collection.

The luxury children’s wear collections of Bentley & Lace and Janay Deann stole the audience’s hearts with their elegant detailing and marvelous partnering of fabrics. Shalini Ahuja from India presented a collection with exciting texture, lines and bold colors. MarianDree Gaitan then took the crowd’s breath away with her impeccable bridal designs. The pure beauty and impressive artistry shone through her designs as they came down the runway.

Nancy Vuu’s luxury children’s wear opened the next trio of shows. Her sophisticated and colorful designs brought a buzz through the audience. True entertainment and artistry took the runway next with Anthony Rubio’s ready-to-wear and doggy couture collection. Bradelis Lingerie brought a sultry show to the runway with a mix of gorgeous fabrics and striking craftsmanship.

David Tupaz presented a collection of pure grace and sophistication. His designs were a mix of elegant lines and sharp detailing. Farah Angsana brought bold colors, flowing shapes and sparkle to the runway next. Her designs made a statement on the sleek white runway.

Off of the runway the guests of Style Fashion Week were treated to breathtaking presentations. Yumi Katasura once again shared her incredible designs from Requiem of a Dream with Style Fashion Week for her Metropolitan Museum Preview. Joan Marentis Kelly shared a four hour presentation of Cosmik Souls handcrafted jewelry with the guests.
