2016 Billboard Music Awards

You know summer has arrived when you think about the Billboard Music Awards. On Sunday, the city of Las Vegas was filled with energy and on full display leading up to one of the biggest award shows of the year. Celebrities made their way on to the red carpet prior to going in the T-Mobile Arena to celebrate the biggest hits of the year.

The show started with an incredible performance put on by Britney Spears who sang many of her hit classics. The host of the show were Ludacris & Ciara. Other performers that hit the stage included: Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Pink, Rihanna, Fifth Harmony, DNCE, Ariana Grande, and Kesha.
One of the most memorial moments of the night was Celine Dion performance of “The Show Must Go On” with guest star Lindsey Stirling after winning the Icon Award. For me, the highlight performance was Madonna & Stevie Wonder singing Nothing Compares 2 U” & ”Purple Rain to pay tribute to the memories of Prince.

Other celebrities that attended the event includes: Priyanka Chopra, Heidi Klum, Jessica Alba, Zendaya, Kathryn Hahn, Laverne Cox, Mila Kunis, Lucy Hale, Kate Beckinsale, Josh Ostrovsky aka “The Fat Jew”, Keke Palmer, Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Steven Tyler.
