REVEL REY DEBUTS “FUNK n’ SOL” SPRING/SUMMER 2017 COLLECTION AT MIAMI SWIM WEEK

REVEL REY SWIM debuted the “Funk n’ Sol” Spring/Summer 2017 Collection on Saturday, July 16th at a high-energy pool party at the 1 Hotel South Beach filled with gorgeous models, social media influencers, editors, and buyers. On hand were Gabby Epstein, Helen Owen, Becca Tilly, Jourdan Miller, Charlotte McKee, Jena Frumes, Hannah Stocking, and more. The newly launched brand is a funky, bold, swimwear company created by owner/designer Audrey “Rey” Swanson. The brand combines fashion, art, and unique custom hand painted prints; all while also focusing on great fitting bikinis designed to make any woman feel sexy in her own skin.

Swanson has had a lengthy background and obsession in the design/art community. She attended college for art, majoring in Interior and Graphic design. After school, she practiced as an Interior Designer where she discovered her love for textiles and prints. This was the stepping stone for her next adventure into the manufacturing industry. Having the opportunity to travel to tropical destinations all over the world; bikinis and the swim industry soon became Audrey’s passion. Combining her design/art background with her love of travel; she decided to start utilizing her extensive knowledge to create and turn custom prints into clothing. Since the swim world has endless possibilities to be creative with wild and vibrant prints, Revel Rey was born!

Every designer swimwear suit has been hand designed with exciting new suit patterns and prints. Each print is hand painted and/or graphically made by Audrey, using multiple types of mixed media. She focuses on creating unique bikini patterns, while keeping each fit flattering and sexy. The collection is made up of seamless designs, with most of the suits being reversible. Audrey’s love for one- pieces allows for funky, sexy shapes that really show off an entire print.
