Under Armour is expected to announce that they plan on signing A$AP Rocky to represent their lifestyle department. The New York Rapper will join the likes of NBA superstar Stephen Curry and Hollywood Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
According to Susquehanna Financial Group analyst Same Poser, Baltimore-based brand has signed Rocky hoping it would increase sales and stock prices. After disappointing Q1 earnings, Under Armour stocks dipped around 7 percent at the close last Thursday. The details of the deal have yet to be disclosed by either parties but an official announcement is expected to be made in the coming days.
The rapper is no stranger to clothing collaborations. Earlier this year, A$AP Rocky partnered with Guess for the second time, has been worked with Dior Homme, Francesco Ragazzi, and Gucci’s Alessandro Michele.
