Uniqlo who in recent years, partnered with luxury icons Alexander Wang, Tomas Maier and Jil Sander on limited-edition designs, have partnered with the Kpop boy band, BTS.
Ahead of the official launch of the BT21 x Uniqlo UT collaboration, Uniqlo has unveiled images of the T-shirt designs. Coming in 12 different styles, the collection is created with graphics of the BT21 logo and its characters, Tata, Mang, Chimmy, Koya, RJ, Cooky, Van, and Shooky. BTS has dominated the Kpop charts for years and has recently become a popular in the U.S. over the last two years. Just over the last couple of years, the Kpop sensation was featured on the cover of Time magazine, performed in the billboard music awards with Halsey, and became the first Korean band to perform on “Saturday Night Live.”
Priced at $14.90 USD each, the tees can be purchased online and in-store at Uniqlo locations worldwide on June 21.
